Wednesday, 9/6/2023: Students new to Bishop Kearney & new International Students
All new students (including International & Selects) in grades 6 to 12 will attend New Student Orientation from 8:00am-11:00am. There will not be busing available on this day. This orientation will include a welcome to Bishop Kearney, guided tours, and getting-to-know-you activities with Mrs. Steffen, our Director of Student Life and our House Leadership Team. Students should enter the building using the front entrance.
All new International students will stay for an additional orientation from 11:00pm-3:00pm with Mrs. Bowser. Lunch will be provided!
Thursday, 9/7/22 8:00am - 2:45pm: First Day of School for Grades 6-12
Our first day of school will run as Syllabus Day, allowing students to visit their A and B Day classes for all Blocks all in the same day. This will give students the opportunity to meet all of their teachers, find all of their classrooms and engage in discussions about the overview of each of their courses, classroom expectations and goals for the semester. Full uniform is required. Please be sure to review the dress code before the start of school as there have been a few changes.
